Photoshop Cs3

Posted by admin

The Macworld Video Podcast returns with a special episode devoted to the just-released Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta, which will be available Friday from Adobe’s Web site. As mentioned in our news story on the beta release, anyone with a Photoshop CS2 or Creative Suite 2 serial number can download and use the software without restriction.

What can you expect to see in Photoshop CS3? Macworld Editorial Director Jason Snell gives you a sneak peak via an interview with Photoshop’s senior product manager John Nack. In the interview, Nack reveals that Macintosh Intel-compatibility was a prime motivator for releasing the public beta—Adobe is just as interested in seeing Photoshop run natively on Intel Macs as are Mac users.

In the second half of the podcast, Jason shows off some of Photoshop CS3’s compelling features, including a cool new way to combine the best parts of two images as well as tools for more easily masking images.
