Sage 50—U.S. Edition keeps prompting me to register even though I already have. How can I correct this issue?

The files located in your datapath are not updating properly. To correct this issue, some files need to be deleted.They will recreate when Sage 50 is opened. Follow these instructions for locating your datapath and deleting the required files.Note: This article contains information about how to modify the registry. It is strongly recommend that you backup the registry before you modify it. You should perform these steps only if you are familiar with editing the Windows Registry. Please contact your local IT Administrator or Computer Consultant for assistance if needed.Close Sage 50.On the keyboard hold down the Windows Key + R which will open Run.Type regedit in the Open box and press Enter or click OK, this will open the Registry Editor.Browse to the following location in the Registry Editor window that appears:

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DOWNLOAD AN OLDER VERSION OF WINDOWS LIKE I HAD ON MY OLD XP COMPUTER ONTO THIS NEW COMPUTER SO I CAN SAFELY INSTALL MY ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE. IF SO HOW CAN I DO THAT?

OR WILL IT DESTROY MY NEW COMPUTER? AND WIPE OUT MY NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS THAT CAME ON THE NEW COMPUTER?

IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY FOR THE NEW ACCOUTING SOFTWARE, IT IS JUST THAT I HAVE USED THIS SOFTWARE FOR ALMOST 15 YEARS AND I LOVE IT. IT WORKS FOR ME. OH, ON THE CD IT SAYS, FOR WINDOWS 3.1 & WINDOWS '95.
